Overview  
Viking Range Corporation (VRC) is an industry leader in the production of commercial quality appliances for professional chefs and serious home cooks. VRC's dealers and designers needed a comprehensive reference tool that would include product information, schematic drawings, specifications and dimensions for the entire line of VRC products.

Client Objectives 

• Develop an easy-to-use reference tool for all VRC appliances to centralize product information and specifications that would enable users to quickly locate this information.
• This tool must be flexible and easy to keep current.

• infographics led a team that established parameters for format and design for each of Viking's main product categories.
• The team developed a comprehensive series of documents that included key product and application information. 
• These documents were formatted for print-production and publication to the reference library on Viking's website where they are continually updated with the latest product information and specifications. 
• Revision dates on each document enable users to easily track and print the newest product information and specifications from the online library at any time.

Results  

• The new Viking Product Planning  Design Guide received overwhelmingly positive response from the dealer and design communities and is now the primary reference tool for specifying and design with VRC appliances.
• The finished documents (totaling more than 300 pages) are sufficiently inclusive to be used as the specification sheets for each product. 
• The documents are continually updated and available through VRC's online reference library.
